We are looking for a talented social media strategist and community manager to drive our brand social media, influencer and content marketing strategy. You will responsible for creating content, managing our communities and engaging new audiences via organic and paid campaigns to support brand awareness, audience and engagement growth goals.

The Social Media Strategist & Community Manager is responsible for the strategic development and execution of day-to-day content across all channels. The role requires you to leverage data and listening insights to develop plans and make tactical recommendations.

ABOUT YOU:

You have experience overseeing consumer brand social networks and communities. You have some editorial chops but found a calling in the social sphere where you have proven success in building an audience, adding traffic and finding a voice. If you have only dabbled in social media as an aside to a digital job, this is not for you.

In fact, you are the social maestro or maven who knows what piece of content works where on each social platform and have honed your craft to include photos and videos. You're a self-starter and enjoy teaching best practices to others. You enjoy working with teams but you are extremely self-directed and work well independently too.

You understand how to drive the social conversation and you're on top of social media trends. Your confidence and creativity will come in handy as will your verbal and writing skills that's because you'll be grabbing a role that comes with lots of exposure and autonomy.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Own and manage content editorial calendar and ensure brand consistency of messages across various networks

  • Create timely and engaging content optimized for platform used and intended audience across owned channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

  • Execute paid campaigns and A/B testing strategies on content, audiences and engagement

  • Build and nurture communities, and actively communicate and interact with our followers to increase their brand engagement in real-time

  • Monitor, analyze and report social media performance on weekly/monthly basis for successes and make recommendations for new opportunities

  • Design and propose social media listening plans to support audience development and engagement objectives

  • Conduct research via social listening and analytics tools to understand conversational and competitor insights to inform brand and social activations

  • Deliver best-in-class community management and partner with Customer Solutions Team to optimize our response strategy

  • Respond to negative and positive user reviews to build a positive relationship between the brand and the consumer

  • Build and manage relationships with influencers that drive content creation and brand awareness

  • Stay current with social media trends and tools includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • B.A./B.S. required, preferably in communications, advertising, marketing, social sciences, and/or journalism

  • 3-5 years of social media marketing experience with 2 years of developing and managing paid social campaigns

  • High Proficiency using but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, blogging, review sites and more

  • Proficiency in using social media software like Sprinklr, Sprout, Salesforce Social Studio and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics/Omniture)

  • Power user of Facebook Ads Manager

  • Experience working with graphics (Adobe Creative Suite); ability to identify strong photography and other types of media for use in social media platforms

  • Proven track record in substantially growing an Instagram following - experience pitching influencers, and proposing unique collaborations that drive content creation and brand awareness

  • Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management.

  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail

  • Strategic content creation and excellent writing skills, particularly as it relates to SEO

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Exceptional time management skills
