Provide assistance and facilitation of grant/fund development in the following areas: needs analysis, project research, opportunity feasibility, grant writing, editing, and proofreading, and budget development.

Provide support by assisting with the successful completion of project reporting, amendments and continuance applications; and other support as required.

High proficiency in use of Microsoft programs to manage data and reporting requirements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Management

Work closely with the Coordinator of Grants/Fund Develop to increase the effectiveness of the department.

Research and identify new grant opportunities for teachers, campuses, and departments.

Write, edit, and proofread grant proposals for teachers, campuses, and departments with guidance from the Coordinator of Grants/Fund Development.

Write, edit, and proofread MOUs, letters of support, and thank-you letters with guidance from the Coordinator of Grants/Fund Development.

Facilitate continuance and/or amendment applications with guidance from Coordinator of Fund Development, grant Project Manager and Accounting.

Facilitate grant approval signatures/ submission process.

Manage calendar of compliance reporting to ensure timely submission for grant programs.

Manage calendar of deadlines and meetings for the Grants/Fund Development Department.

Communication

Maintain contact / collaborate with departments throughout the ISD.

Develop and continually update a user-friendly grant opportunities database, and contact staff with appropriate grant opportunities.

Research and update community needs assessment data as needed.

Attend meetings to support grant objectives as needed.

Assist with or conduct workshops/training for school personnel in grants writing with guidance from the Coordinator of Grants/Fund Development.

Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality.

Financial

Maintain budget control report for Grant/Fund Development Office.

Perform research for grant resources, as directed.

Maintain grant documentation to ensure budget development, expenditures and implementation of projects are in compliance with guidelines.

Process purchase orders, email, telephone calls, mail and faxes on a daily basis for Grant/Fund Development Office.

Assist with file management for the Grant/Fund Development Office.

Professional Growth and Development

Participate in professional organizations and professional development activities approved by the Coordinator of Grants/Fund Development.

Develop professional skills appropriate to job assignment.

Seek, accept and respond to evaluative feedback from peers and supervisors.

Miscellaneous

Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Coordinator of Grants/Fund Development or the Director of the PACE Department.


Assist with PACE Department events as needed.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (required)

Minimum of five years' working experience researching, writing, editing, and/or proofreading.

Ability to locate funding data and use it to support grant proposals.

Evidence of successful work in writing, editing, proofreading and budget development.

Excellent public relations, time management, and organizational skills.
